De Herenhuis 1692 – Wine Tasting
The original Manor House underwent a complete transformation when the farm was bought in 2002. Today the building, which dates back to 1692, is home to the Zorgvliet Tasting Room and it once again boasts a thatch roof to recapture the romantic facade of years gone by.
The original homestead was saved from complete decay and specific attention was given to the conservation of existing structures. The preservation of the ceilings, which were restored after exhaustive efforts, lends a unique atmosphere to the Manor House. The previous time that the manor house was restored so meticulously was in 1860 after the house was virtually destroyed in a fire.
Today, the Manor House offers a relaxed tasting experience where guests can explore a selection of Zorgvliet wines, with chocolate and macaron pairings available for those looking to add something extra.
